We are not responsible for any delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details.

5.2. Returns for In-Store Purchases: Please refer to Section 6.2 for our specific returns policy for in-store purchases.

    6. Returns, Refunds, and Your Rights Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected by these Terms of Sale.

6.1. Online Orders (Distance Sales - Your Right to Cancel): • 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: You have a legal right to cancel an online order for any reason and receive a full refund within 14 days from the day you (or someone nominated by you) receive the goods. This is known as the "cooling-off period." • How to Cancel: To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g., email or letter) within the 14-day period. Please contact us at hello@dressmeup.uk. • Returning Goods After Cancellation: If you cancel an order under the cooling-off period, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation to us. All returns are at your expense. You are also responsible for ensuring the goods are returned via a tracked and insured postal service that provides adequate cover for the full value of the items against loss or damage in transit. • Condition of Returned Goods: All goods must be returned in the same condition as when you received them, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags, labels, and security tags (if applicable) still attached. If the value of the goods is diminished by any unnecessary handling by you beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, we may deduct an amount from the refund, up to the full contract price. • Refunds After Cancellation: We will process the refund due to you within 14 days of the day we receive the goods back from you or (if earlier) the day you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back. The refund will include the cost of the goods and the original standard delivery charges (if any). We will refund you using the same method used for payment.

6.2. In-Store Purchases (No Automatic Right to Cancel): • Please note that for items purchased in our physical store in Navenby, Lincolnshire, you do not have an automatic legal right to a refund if you simply change your mind (as the Distance Selling Regulations do not apply). • Our In-Store Returns Policy: We may offer store credit or exchange for in-store purchases within [Number] days of purchase, provided the item is returned in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached, and with proof of purchase. This is offered at our discretion and is not a legal right. Please speak to us directly in-store for specific details on our current in-store returns policy.

6.3. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods (For both Online and In-Store Purchases): • Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods must be: • Of satisfactory quality: They shouldn't be faulty or damaged, considering their price and the fact they are past season and sample stock. • Fit for purpose: They should be suitable for the purpose for which they were supplied. • As described: They must match any description given to you. • If an item you purchase from us does not meet these criteria, you have legal rights. Please contact us immediately at hello@dressmeup.uk to discuss the issue. • Within 30 days: If the item is faulty or misdescribed, you have a short-term right to reject it and receive a full refund within 30 days of purchase (or delivery for online orders). • After 30 days but within 6 months: We have the right to repair or replace the item. If repair or replacement is not possible or fails, you may be entitled to a refund (which may be a partial refund). • After 6 months: You may still be entitled to a repair or replacement, but the burden of proof shifts to you to show the fault was present at the time of purchase. • Wear and Tear: Please remember that reasonable wear and tear for past season and sample stock items is expected and does not constitute a fault unless it was not accurately described or impacts the item's intended purpose.

    7. Limitation of Liability • Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be legally limited or excluded. • Subject to the above, our total liability to you in respect of all losses arising under or in connection with these Terms of Sale, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall in no circumstances exceed the price of the goods you purchased. • We are not liable for business losses. We only supply the products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business, or re-sale purpose, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

    8. Events Outside Our Control We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms of Sale that is caused by any act or event beyond our reasonable control (e.g., strikes, lock-outs, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack, war, fire, flood, earthquake, epidemic, pandemic, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks).

    9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to these Terms of Sale.

    10. Other Important Terms • Severability: Each of the paragraphs of these Terms of Sale operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect. • Waiver: If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these Terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
